Fabulous. Slightly sweet ambery Labdanum with warm spices, cinnamon and ginger.
Like a stronger version of Feminite du Bois

My absolute favourite perfume. A beautiful scent and long lasting.

Warm, resinous fragrance, with strong vanilla. Not something I would generally wear, but I can appreciate it's beauty. Review based on 3ml oil.

i used to wear tabu many years ago but this doesnt remind me of it as others are saying. it is lovely but not one of the best. I think its time i had my hands tied together as this site is so addictive..lol

Lovely scent...Spicy but you can really smell the vanilla coming through, however once it has settled it evolves constantly throughout the day. Very femanine, very wearable. Love it!

Have never smelled or used the real one so can't comment on the differences. Can only say this is LOVELY and quite long lasting. Very pleased

Used to use Tabu and Pagan years ago, so choose this because of other reviews... Not disappointed wonderful!! Long lasting..

Bought this on the strength of the reviewers before me who said it reminded them of vintage Tabu.
I have a bottle of non-vintage Tabu, which I like but decided to experiment and added the Amber Orient to the Tabu (in my own little spray bottle) and WOW!! I love it. It really makes the Tabu pop!! Lovely on its own too, so well worth trying if you like this genre.

Like the previous reviewer this does smell like the original Tabu and I own 3 bottles from the 50s and 60s and the pure perfume so am able to compare, dont confuse this with the crap that they sell now days, this is a stunner. Unable to comment on the Armani version have never smelt it but if it smells as lovely as this save your money and buy this one. Well done PP another beautiful perfume, give my regards to whoever is making these, a genius who I'm sure is not being paid enough.

This is one of my favourites. It reminds me of the original Tabu (not the modern, toned down version). A beautiful, classic oriental.

I never travel without this one at the moment. One of my favourites. I have been asked several times what I am wearing as it is so warm, so attractively spicy, and yet lively too.
