I had been looking for a copy of wrappings for ages as the real thing is getting harder & harder to find and if you can it's stupid prices, I came across this by accident and am so pleased I did, it's an excellent copy and will definitely be back for more 🥰
When I first brought this I loved the scent but as I hadn't smelt the original I had nothing to compare it to .
Well today I finally got to smell the original today and wow Charmer is very close ..Amazing
I discovered this fragrance whilst on a train and purchased a sample to see if it worked for me which it did. It's been out of stock with PP for a while so I purchased from another company and was disappointed but thought I'd give it another go when PP restocked. Wow - how amazing is this one though! PP have got it spot on and the longevity is amazing. I can still smell it on me this morning nearly 20 hours after application! Thank you
Opens with candied lemons drying down to a scrumptious dark vanilla, love this PP, a great creation!😍
Somehow Tendre Poison passed me by but I'm glad I've had the chance to experience it now via pp.
It's not what I expected. I thought it would be more notice-grabbing but it turns out to be a gentle, youthful and ladylike scent that's not too sweet and is very individual.
The nearest comparison I can come up with is this is the young niece of Poeme. She doesn't have the opulence and poise of her sophisticated relative but the resemblance is there only younger, fresher and more modern.
Very easy and pleasing to wear.
Gorgeous classic perfume.
Very close to the original. I have the oil and it is strong and lasting. Really good job pp.
Decent performance I like it. Pretty citrusy if you like those kind of fragrances. Can see myself wearing it on a chilled summer evening
Haven't tried bvlgaris however this one does indeed have the intended scent profiled.
This is beautiful for the spring and summer, I got the extract and will definitely be repurchasing, PP do some amazing scents.
Beautiful rose fragrance becomes more and more indepth on the drydown!
Good compliment getter takes a confident man to wear this fragrance
Never had my nose on og
The tester set has arrived! At first sniff all I can say is - damn this might get expensive! They are all gorgeous. The one I've been itching to smell is this one - Glaring at the Fire. We have a wood fired oven - it's like they took the ash and made a fragrance from it. With some cedar, leather and tobacco. Now I'm not normally a tobac guy but this is really nice if a bit unusual. Maybe adding a little cognac note would be nice to complete the picture. To my nose after an hour or so the smoke is starting to clear and the tobacco and leather stating to come forward.
Smokey it most definably is! It won't be for everyone but I like it. Not sure about 'Glaring' though. 'Staring' would fit better, I think. Its a personal thing. But I do keep sniffing at it. I need to do more research. I'm gonna need a bigger bottle.....
When I first sprayed it I thought: Oh no, it reminds me of those badly blended overly sweet Avon perfumes from the 80s. Oh please don't let this be this.
But then the dry down happened.
The initially badly blended white florals and coconut have formed into a creamy banana now. Yes, they kind of smell like a banana dessert now. In the best possible way.
And the more you wait the more creamy and smooth the mixture with get. It's like you add more and more custard and cream into the banana dessert and keep on stirring. That's how the dry down unfolds.
Absolutely stunning! A perfect scent for the beach or summer.
This is a proper vintage perfume. You will get a rich, soapy rose scent.
This is not a fresh, spring-like rose, but a richer, more mature rose.
The mature rose is also quite sweet and dessert-like induced with passionfruit and peach.
Please be aware that this is a more old fashioned kind of scent. It's induced with aldehydes, which gives it that bathroom soap scent.
I personally like vintage type scents, but if you don't like those type of scents then I wouldn't recommend it to you.
I've read someone mentioning that this smells like L'heure Bleu. No, it doesn't smell like L'heure Bleu at all. L'Heure Bleu is extremely powdery with only a light whiff of floral and fruit, whilst Sweet Pleasure is not powdery like that at all and is very strong in the floral and fruit. They are very different.
If I would have to compare it to anything other than Nahema then I would compare Sweet Pleasure To Miss Dior Cherie. But not at all to L'heure Bleu.
Don't get me wrong: This is very close to the original. The DNA is there.
However the original has an animalic skank note which Synthetic doesn't have.
So basically Synthetic is like an "improved", more user friendly version of Jicky.
All the rich woods, herbs, spices and florals are hard hitting and there in Synthetic, but there's less of the animalic skank, which makes Synthetic more wearable.
Not that Jicky is not wearable, but it can be quite off putting to some people around the wearer. Whilst Synthetic is a little more public friendly and can be worn without insulting anyone's less perfume experienced noses.
It's an amazing perfume. Highly complex. Mesmerising. I'm so happy to have it.
Almost completely identical to the original. However I actually like this more than the original.
The original is more woody in the dry down, while this here stays fresh and more clean throughout. I actually prefer that fresher take with that amazing hibiscus-lychee theme going on.
I loved it so much I wore it today. Enjoyed every second of it. Perfume Parlour: Bravo!
I have never smelled the original, but I have heard that this is as close as it gets to the original.
It's a beautiful perfume. Very gentle, soft. You will not be blasted with a strong whiff of scent, but more of a skin scent. In a very good way. It's a rather discreet fragrance. It's wonderfully blended, nothing stands out like a sore thumb. It's just a beautiful gentle perfume. Wearing it will offend no one. It's a light vanilla almond scent. Not a overly sweet one. It's more of a perfume-y vanilla, not a gourmand one. You will not get sticky sweet, but gentle sweet. It's a nice perfume.
It's not a ground breaking beast mode, but a nice friendly fragrance.
Stunning, creamy, powdery rose fragrance.
I have never smelled the original, but if it's as this amazing as this perfume then it must be great. This is a fresh, but creamy and soft rose perfume. I'm so happy to have it.
