I owned the original TF Sole Di Positano. It was only out for a short period of time by which point when I’d use my bottle, I went back to find that it had been discontinued.

I’ve been looking for something that would replace that smell for a number of years and saw that this was promoting a copycat scent.

The smell is 95% there, but I bought the elixir which is about three times the strength of the original from memory. I did buy the elixir.

What is the 5% difference? I would say that the original had a deeper base scent that underpinned the freshness of the scent overall. However I paid £150 for 50ml at the time. I would say value for money this wins hands down.

Would I pay £150 again for the original if I could, probably not after smelling this. I think I could live without the 5% for difference in price.

Smells great and very suitable for summer. I would say it's unisex. Doesn't last long ,but I will try elixir version.

Longevity is great for a fresh fragrance. I think this is one of the best Tom Ford fresh fragrances and totally recommend. I bought one for a car diffuser and it smells sophisticated yet light and playful. Try it!

Smells exactly the same as the original.
I would say this one is a much better version. Seems a lot more fresher and the longevity is second to none. The compliments have not stopped flowing with this one. It's a nice comforting sort of fresh laundry smell to it as well. You know that nice smell of freshly washed laundry on the line that's how I would describe it it after it's settled around 15 minutes. I don't think I've ever been disappointed once with their products and since then I've never looked back.

Beautiful perfume and very close to the original. This is an amazing summer fragrance for someone that likes citrus fresh. This feels as if you are under a lemon tree smelling the flowers in the afternoon
