Opulent Hedon is a woody spicy amber fragrance with a luxurious, confident and modern character. It opens with bergamot, ginger and grapefruit, producing a bright, energised start with crisp citrus and gentle spice.The heart moves into cedarwood, akigalawood and lychee. This stage gives the fragrance a textured woody core lifted by a subtle fruity facet.The base of vetiver, musk, tonka bean and amber creates a warm, smooth and long-lasting finish that feels rich without becoming heavy.It is most comfortable in autumn, winter and cooler spring evenings, where it shines in evenings, special occasions, date nights and dressed-up settings. Another fragrances so well done. As with Avalanche Fruity 2659, I'll take this over the original. The dry down is superb with decent longevity.

★★★★★ Absolutely beautiful, and it lasts all day

I have to say it's absolutely beautiful, and it smells very expensive, far more than the price would suggest. It's unisex, though I'd say it leans slightly more masculine, and it reminds me a little of Le Labo Noir 29 (Perky - 1823 here). It's an intriguing fragrance, the kind that makes you want to keep catching the scent throughout the day.

The longevity is brilliant. I've been wearing it since the morning and can still smell it now. Fantastic value for such a luxurious-smelling fragrance.
