Noir Amber For Women - 1041

Wow! I think I have found a new cold weather favourite.
Beautiful white floral with a subtle warmth behind it but not competing with the delicate floral.
Sophisticated fragrance.

Very similar to the original but has its own vibe too. Dries down quite powdery. It’s very nice.

I’ve purchased many perfumes from PP and they’ve all been fantastic but unfortunately, this one smells nothing like the original. I actually can’t wear it as it smells like it’s gone off.

[oil] Opening: spicy, dark, rich, aromatic. Florals begin to show in the first few minutes. Eventually the incense and amber turn up. Lovely, feminine, grown-up. Classic aromatherapy scent - like a massage at the steam room from a hot guy. 8.5/10

This review is for the spray only. On first smell from the bottle this seems promising – not necessarily as a good copy of the original but at least it seems that it may be a nice perfume. I do not own the original but have been close to buying it on several occasions so have a fair idea on the scent. This does not have the same complexity and additional sweetness as the original, I am missing the jasmine scent and the sexiness of the smell. I must admit I do not enjoy sandalwood and, to me at least, this is quite a prevalent scent in this so that does put me off, this may not apply to you. On first spray you can smell the warmth of the ginger and pink pepper and spiciness which I like but these notes don’t stay around very long and on dry down it smells to me a little like burnt wood. It’s not an awful scent I suppose but I definitely would not recommend this as a ‘dupe’ for the original unfortunately. It smells more like a cheap incense stick which is trying to imitate the original. It’s almost more like an older man’s aftershave, I personally don’t mind more masculine smells as I enjoy spicy woody perfumes but this one is sadly not the same as the original at all. Disappointed.

I bought this before trying the original jo Malone. I prefer this, the original has a bit too much muskiness while this is beautifull

Light, autumn perfume. I bought it to layer with the wonderful Pomegranate Noir.

Beautiful, cosily oriental. I agree with rubyred that this is a winter evening perfume. However I shall wear it at any time. gorgeous with great longevity and sillage.

Lovely scent I like most of the No Malone scents but this and Phony blush sude is my favourite..

Is very similar to the original jm scent.
