The opening is earthy and slightly sweet, with patchouli & violet right up front, softened by a touch of jasmine. As it develops, vetiver and Peru amber add depth, giving the fragrance a warm, resinous glow. The balsam note rounds things out with a smooth, slightly balsamic edge that keeps it rich but balanced. Overall, it’s patchouli-driven yet elegant, with a woody, amber backbone that feels both exotic and wearable. Longevity is solid, and it’s perfect if you enjoy patchouli scents that lean more refined than raw.

I ordered a small quantity as I wasn’t familiar with the original scent but the moment I tried it I fell in love! Initially it comes over as musky, violety but then develops into a delicate patchouli - which is wonderful because I adore patchouli. It seems to last well on the skin too. I’ve already ordered the 60ml version

Nice scent, with long lasting scent. Quite strong so a little goes a long way. Given it 4 stars as I like other scents more.

Review based on oil. I Love patchouli, it is one of my favourite or the favourite note. But in Purple patchouli, at least the sample that I got, I get no patchouli at all, actually I get fruit eve though it is not listed in the notes, with very weak projection and longivity. Either wrong perfume is sent, or PP changed it, but this is not even close to TF patchouli.

I am not normally a fan of patchouli , but this is divine and elegant. Love!

The original has been discontinued a while and I never got the chance to try it- so I can't say if this is the same or not. I can say that it smells absolutely divine, and a little goes a very long way. One of my new favourites

Very similar to the original, but being a perfume oil has more staying power. I love it!
