Can't tell you how relieved I was to find this. My autistic son won't wear anything else but it has been discontinued. This is a great substitute and smells like the real thing. Re assured that my son would pick up any inaccuracies in the fragrance so it must be like the real thing. Will buy again.

A start that does not resemble the original at all. Then it settles and something is similar. But, in short, a rather poor imitation. I have tried imitations of Arab origin of other perfumes and they have achieved the desired effect.

The original Van Cleef & Arpels Pour Homme has become far too expensive, and this dupe is really well made

What a great thing that pp have these discontinued gems at such a good price - exactly how I remember it. To me it was always imperial leather in a bottle

Seems to be the only VCAPH alternative around, in the UK at least!
Opening is a bit not there(!), but that's almost a given with some types of alternate juices, straight to dry down!
Super potent, a good variety of the facets of VCAPH show up (soapiness, floral, dark undertones etc).
Only detractor is I get a slight sweet note running throughout.
Otherwise very good, it's very potent in EDP concentration!

I bought this fragrance for my husband, who is a fan of Van Cleef and Arpels. Unfortunately his favourite VC&A cologne from the 80’s had been discontinued and we have been searching for a replacement for years. Thanks to Perfume Parlour our hunt is over, 0936 Luxuriant is spot on and my husband is delighted. The fragrance lasts all day. Brilliant service from start to finish. 🙌🏻

I am unable to review my fragrance as it is still on hold at Cincinnati and hasn’t been delivered yet. I am following the tracking and it hasn’t moved for a week.

I was able to compare because I do have some left of the original Van Cleef & Arpeels pour Homme, and it’s so close, impossible to differentiate after a few seconds on the skin. I was so desperate and never could find a replacement for this amazing classic scent that I’ve always used until it was discontinued

This is the epitome of a man and I absolutely love wearing this. When you get small whiffs of yourself on the street you feel invincible.

Waited full year to have it restocked... Classic Giant from 80's thanks to PP back ! My 200's bottle and not the last one 😜

This is a clone of Van Cleef and Arpels Pour Homme and it’s exactly like the original ….amazing scent but unfortunately it hasn’t been in stock for a few years and they recently brought it back but it was only available in the 30ml size and when I received it I went back on to order more and there was nothing in this range available….shame it could be one the top sellers on Perfume Parlour.

I I always wanted to try VC&A pour homme based on all the reviews that i,ve read but sadly its been discontinued. after reading the review on PP I thought i,d give it a try. this is a real mans fragrance, a sixties/seventies type powerhouse. well done PP.

Bought the 10ml oil and 10ml spray. I like to layer. - VC&A PH is one of my favourite scents ever so I was miserable when I learned that it was discontinued. PP’s version is an excellent substitute. The opening is somewhat off but the soapy clean dry down is very similar to the original and both oil and spray perform very well. So pleased that PP have solved a problem for me. 5 stars *****
