Right out of the box on the first spray, the 50ml EDP hits a little sharp and you get that initial alcohol bite compared to the real deal. But give it about ten minutes to settle down, and it opens up into that exact, unmistakable Ganymede DNA.
You get that wild, futuristic mineral-wood and saffron vibe, though the original still holds onto a slightly airier sillage in the air. As for projection and distance, it pushes out nicely for the first couple of hours—people around you will definitely catch a good scent trail at arm's length. After that, it pulls back into a solid scent bubble that you can easily catch on yourself for hours, but it doesn't stay aggressively loud forever, which is actually nice so it isn't cloying.
Just a quick heads-up for anyone buying: spray it a few times and let the bottle macerate in a dark drawer for a couple of weeks. The blend rounds out and gets way smoother.
Honestly, having gone through this 50ml EDP bottle, I’m definitely picking up the Extrait version next to see how the richer concentration treats this profile.

Excellent fragrance so similar to the original it is inspired by

This is such a niche fragrance, unlike anything I ever had. The opening is like smelling a glossy magazine. When it starts to dry down, the slight metallic notes slowly disappear and turn into a wonderful amber scent with the myrrh, & mandarin orange appearing and eventually easing into sweet, woody base. The longevity is 5-6 hours l with a confident-boosting projection.
This scent is for someone who's brave to stand out and who can carry himself with an aura of confidence.

Got the regular Jupiter but found that moderate. Went for Jupiter Extrait and OMG this is bang on Ganymede. Tried to buy more later that day but it was sold out!! Will never buy Ganymede again, no need.

i ordered both the normal version and extrait. I prefer the normal one. As for similarity to the original I am not sure.
