For me, this is another PP masterpiece version of a FM fragrance. As with ‘The Night,’ I don’t own it (I can’t justify £1285.00!) but have sampled ‘Dawn’ on a few occasions, so feel I can give an honest review:

This fragrance (edp) blew me away, and has continued to impress me since- Congratulations to PP on being brave enough to tackle a fragrance as complex & distinctive as their FM range.

I will be buying a bigger bottle in extract form due to the outstanding quality across the board. The top & middle notes of Turkish Rose are incredible, with a sensational base of Oud & labdanum. Throw Frankincense, pink pepper, & vetiver into the mix & you get this gem of a fragrance.
Out of all my PP purchases I am most impressed with their FM dupes. A genuinely beautiful blend of Rose, incense, and Oud - Highly recommended

Tried the roll on. Based in Australia so the alcohol postage tax is inhibitive for buying sprays. The roll on has the same vibe, mainly fecalic. I found the spray I bought whilst in the UK from PP to have a higher rose type note to it. Fair to say the spray wins out in complexity to the roll on.

Like other version of FM and thought this one would be as nice too but it’s actually pure nothing and rather disappointing, wish I could of picked another option

Good quality, projection may be 4 hour mark at best. But not sure till I test it out on someone olse

I approach oud based perfumes with trepidation as I have not been a fan previously, however, some of these Malle inspired ouds are a revelation. This one has made me a convert. If oud can be light and airy then this one is. It is a clean oud, with lovely incense and rose. Immediate love.

Very good fragance, proyeccion and durability. 5 stars. Very similar with Dawn by Frederic Malle.
