Great smelling fragrance, very similar to the original. My girlfriend loves this scent and as mad for Bal d'Afrique so having this is such a great option given the originals price.

It's maybe slightly more harsh on the opening but given the price you can't complain. Within a few minutes it settles down and is nearly one-to-one. The projection off clothing outperforms the original too so would definitely recommend if you're a fan of this scent profile.

I blind bought this, and wasn't sure what to expect. Either I have a bad batch or this stuff is rough as f***

I have no doubt that it's a spot on clone, the quality is good, it's just the type of thing I'd have to really be in the mood for. It's a bit too unisex and herbal for me but if clean girl aesthetic is your thing I can see why people would like it. I just don't get the hype around this perfume but I'm glad I could find out without dropping Byredo money, especially when their perfumes perform terribly.

I had a sample of the original fragrance and loved it. This PP perfume extract is pretty to close. I would normally avoid fragrances with musk, but it is very light in this creation. It is a lovely warm fragrance, ideal for cooler days. However, despite it being the perfume extract I find the longevity is only average.

I don’t like green fragrances typically, but this is much more than a typical green fragrance. The fresh and earthy notes are unique. I’ve never smelt anything like it before. If you try it, you’ll realise how fitting the name is

Bal D'Afrique is absolutely beautiful but I just can't justify spending that amount of money (and not sure how they can justify asking it to be honest).
I still had a sample of the original to test this against and while it's not exactly the same it is very close.
The original is smoother and a touch sweeter/creamier to my nose. While the PP version has something very slightly smokey about it in the opening. On the dry down they are extremely similar.
I would say the PP version is even more unisex due to that hint of smoke. I layer it with PP Molecule 01 to boost the woody undertone and it's gorgeous.

it’s an ok fragrance but it lacks the smoothness of the original. this one is a bit more punchy and citrusy, especially in the top notes. longevity and projection are not amazing, i’d recommend this more as a comforting, day scent.

This is just amazing. It's very close to the original scent and is an extremely beautiful and attractive scent. I feel confident as hell when I'm wearing it.
I got wafts of the fragrance when I was out walking and I can tell that people around me react to it as well.

This is extremely close to the original, and smells A LOT more expensive than it is. I might be able to smell the difference between this and the original if I had them side by side, otherwise there's no chance, I'd say it's about 95-99% identical, at least in the dry-down.
The only strange thing has been that I can't smell it on my skin after just a short while if I've sprayed it on my wrists for an example, but I still get wafts of the scent for many hours, possibly from the fabric of my clothing.

If you like Bal D'Afrique, get this! It's a no-brainer really.
If you haven't sampled Bal D'Afrique and you want a clean and fresh scent that manages to be fruity, citrus-y and fresh spicy that has a beautiful Vetiver base? Yeah, try this out!
I personally think it leans masculine - but I think I would like it on a woman too, and I've seen people say that Bal D'Afrique is more feminine, and I can't agree but that just speaks on how perfectly unisex it can be I guess.

Blind bought this and the scent wasn't quite as I expected from the notes. It was pleasant, middling performance, but per reviews the original doesn't last well either. Last week I stayed in a hotel where the toiletries were scented with Byredo's Bal D'Afrique and it was 99.9% identical to this... And I preferred PP's version

Makes no sense till you smell it.. Like dove soap which I have but with an "ashy" dry note running through it.. Lasts OK and projects OK.. Great for the gym or casual wear during the day..

This is for the 15ml extract. I also have the oil, which I love, but wanted a version with a bit more sillage. I learned quickly to use the extract strength with a very light hand and it smells great, projects well and lasts for ages. Excellent dupe.

I’ve not smelt the original but this is beautiful. Smell very expensive

I own the oil version of the inspiration and love it. However, this is a more than acceptable version. The lemon seems a bit more prominent at the start, but is enjoyable and the feeling is so similar that I am happy to swap to this one.

I’ve ordered a few rom PP lately, and this is my favourite by far. I’ve never smelt the original so can’t say how near it is, but it’s a lovely, simple, soft fragrance that is hard to describe. Despite its soft character, it’s very persistent giving you comforting wafts as you move around for hours. Love it,

Must admit I have not smelt the original but heard that this was an interesting Vetiver scent. Sadly on me it comes across as just a faint skin scent and all I get is the neroli. Not for me!

Amazing scent! one of the best by perfume parlour. definitely give it a go.
