This has a green herby smell from the hint of vetiver. It reminds me more of a fig than blackberry scent.it does have a touch of tartness

The original is ever so slightly less sweet and more green. So basically in the original you smell the bay leaf more and the blackberry less.
Whilst here you smell the blackberry more and the bay leaf less.

Which, to me, is actually improving the scent.

It is such a lovely scent. Fresh, light, summery and feminine. Due to its greenness it might lean towards unisex, which is a good thing in my opinion.

So it's a great interpretation of the original. If you like the original then you will like this one. But if you want this to smell 100& alike then you will be disappointed. But if you're happy to have a sweeter and more playful version of the original, then you'll be very happy with this perfume.
So imagine it as a younger family member of the original. Less mature, less bitter and less green, but slightly lighter and sweet. But still very recognisable as family member.

I'm very happy with it. I actually prefer it to the original.

I've not smelt the JM version but I absolutely love this scent. I wasn't so keen when I first tried it, but after a few weeks went back to it and absolutely love it now. So fresh. Reminds me of late August/September

Smells unusual and amazing, it’s very realistic and natural fresh smell of freshly picked blackberries and bay leaves. Not too sweet but not overly manly either.

Brought for my brother who likes grapefruit scents. It is heavy on the grapefruit but I smell the bay in there too - he likes it

Being very seasonal with my perfume I like to wear this one at the very end of summer. A time when blackberries are in season and there is a hint of Autumn in the air.
Fresh fruity blackberries open then followed by the fragrant, herbal bay to balance.
A very natural, "outdoorsy" fragrance.
Great for everyday wear.

This smells exactly like the original. It is my favourite summer scent. The blackberry is light and fruity and the bay works well to take it down a notch to stop it being too sweet. Very nicely balanced.

Unreal, literally the EXACT same! Will always continue to purchase. Smells like juicy blackberries with a mix of fresh green nettle like leaves.

The PP version is spot on (I have the 30ml spray). A lovely, fresh fruity fragrance. Ideal for summer.

I have sampled the original at an airport duty-free. I think this is close to it. That aside, the scent is a very natural green leafy scent. It reminds me of my childhood in India when we used to play in the fields full of bushes with wild berries, which we dared never eat, and the dusty air circulating by us just running around. A pleasant scent memory.

I have owned this for some time now. It is a beautiful perfume, very fruity and with tart, not sweet notes, with some background notes to make it interesting. I have never owned the “real thing” but it smells the same to me. Lasts 4-6 hrs. (Based on a spray bottle.)

Not to my taste but seems to be a good perfume if this is the type of scent you like

You wouldn't think that something with "blackberry" in the title would be sophisticated but this fragrance is exactly that. Will be buying a spray of this in the future but having so much fun trying out the other perfumes first. Just so many others that I want to try

A blind buy for me this time but definitely one that I'll be repeating. Love the fact that it's fruity but not too sweet or overpowering.

I haven't smell the original one, so I can't make a comparison. But I found it very refreshing and sweet! Its sweetness is not sticky, so it can be used in summer. This fragrance is... dignified somehow. Anyway I am happy with this scent. Certainly my new favourite. And thank you for great customer service!

This is truly an amazing fragrance and identical to the original, but with much greater staying power. I love wearing this in hot weather. It's beautiful.

This is spot on, smells exactly the same as the original only last so much longer as the JM perfumes dont have much staying power unlike the perfume parlour. This is a beautiful fragrance and changes throughout the day.
