Absolutely amazed that this smells like my aftershave from 20 years ago , £200 on ebay for a bottle.
After a duff introduction to this one, possibly due to a bad batch, PP replaced the bottle. The difference was like night and day!! I had to quickly buy a back-up bottle and may need to get more if there is any likelihood of this being discontinued. This is not a dupe of Dior’s current poor 2025 version, but the famous discontinued ‘2014’ version that became an obsession, but it’s no longer available. Unfortunately I have become addicted to the iris dry down and find myself constantly sniffing and snorting. Sadly, I am shortly to start therapy, but The Consultant fears I am beyond hope 🙄😉. Try not to buy two bottles at once!
Great fragrance now my car smells fab too. Quality product. Doesnt obscure view. I dont dint it distracting swinging from the mirror.

I'm pleased with the way these perfumes lasts. I bought several and like the vast majority of them. Whether they smell like originals I am not sure but the claim is that they are in the same olfactory range and I believe that is accurate. I will definitely be buying from Perfume Parlour again: once I've worked through the box full I bought this time!

I already wrote a review which is a 99% perfect rewview. Today wearing it again after about 1 year, and, it is indeed a great scent, only a tiny difference is noticeable. But I am sure, most people don't smell that difference in the AIR. Do you even know, all of you perfume experts out there, that in terms of human olfactory, for some scents: the more diffused the molecule is, the more oxygen and all of the rest mixes with the molecules, the stronger it smells. Some molecules are like that, and that Diagramm isn't linear. It's like exponential and logarhythmic. until a certain value, when it isn't noticeable anymore. One made an experiment with the worst designed smell, any acetonic whatever chemical. He. Tested it in the woods, and nearby it was surprisingly weak. Barely noticeable. But on the other side of the lake in the nearby town, people had to vomit on the streets. True story. keep in mind, that it's NEVER a good idea to press the nose on your skin at the spot you sprayed on. 1 sprays of the elexir us enough. And I want to mention, after 2 years of maceration, the scent improved in all regards. It smells smoother, better, less synthetic, more intense and the longevity is better. Smells 95 % like DHI.

Has a crazy fizzy note in the opening. It's green and fresh with a hint of smoke and spice. Doesn't smell like any cannabis that I've encountered. I imagine this will shine in summer!
I always buy from Perfume Parlour and I am so impressed with what they do. Their delivery is always timely and their fragrances are amazing. Not everything is to my liking but that’s because I have my own preferences on what I like in a fragrance.
30ml Extrait - Lovely PP reproduction of African Leather. Very close to the original, though I will never understand why Memo Paris gave it this name. This is a lovely, fresh, spicy Rose dominant fragrance. The oud is subtle, and leather barely detectable, but you can smell the darker notes in the drydown. Rose Spice would've been a more suitable name. Love this.
30ml Extrait - A more grown up version of Le Male Elixir. The Absolu dials back the honey and replaces it with Plum and Cinnamon. A definite winter warmer and perfect for cooler weather. This PP version is very good, strong and punchy. Very nice indeed.
30ml Extrait - Opens up with that familiar Baccarat Rouge DNA, but this steps back in the drydown and then you're left with the crisp, citrus freshness of Silver Mountain Water. The Baccarat Rouge is still detectable, but it's very subtle. I would say that the scent of Silver Mountain Water is most dominant, but this is still a nice combination.
