Oh my, this is lovely. It's a very close rendition of the century old classic which now graces the original's pricey exclusives line. It never dates due to its discreet, elegant beauty and I really can't get enough of it.
This is the perfume equivalent of haute couture in a market dominated by off the peg. It's absolutely exquisite. I can understand why it has a reputation as a wedding perfume.
Despite its subtlety it's lasting and has good strength and projection.
Breathtaking.

It smells very close to the original. I would say that it also resembles the beautiful Liu by Guer**in. So imagine a light, elegant soapy smell. Like a lighter and fresher version of its sister 5.
Very elegant and very wearable. It does have that vintage vibe to it, but in the best possible way.

Absolutely beautiful, and a dead ringer for the original (of which I still have a bottle so I could compare the two, side-by-side); but of course the original must be around 22 times the price... ; ) I'll definitely be buying more of this.

Absolutely beautiful! I agree that it is very like C***** * but slightly woodier. having never smelt the original I do not know how near PP's version is and have made my purchase on the basis of really good reviews. This one is another of my favourites! Thanks,PP

Absolutely gorgeous, can't tell the difference from the "real thing" but lasts an awful lot longer. Love this!

Lovely perfume, the only note missing is the incense on drydown, (I am familiar with the original), so I'll have to save up to buy a bottle.

The original is, I think, confined to the exclusive boutiques. I had the original bought for me many years ago. This is identical, classically beautiful.

Gorgeous. Classy and long lasting. Makes a lovely change from all of the fruity and overly sweet fragrances. Not tried the original but this oil has that unmistakable ***** scent- smells expensive.

It is similar to *** but a bit livelier and spicier and it lasts and lasts and lasts whether in the oil or the spray from Perfume Parlour and only a hint of the price of the C***** one. I re-order this regularly
