Never smelled the original, but from the notes I was expecting more of a gourmande scent focused around licorice. Tested on paper and on my skin. On paper the top notes last forever, and it's a very cool (temperature) scent. On my skin it went very balmy and floral, and smelled a little like baby oil. A lot of reviews of the original describe it as warm and sweet but I didn't get that at all. I think the anise and licorice are more cooling and fresh. Overall, incredibly complex and beautiful, but so not what I was expecting, and a bit too soapy for me.

Never smelled the original. This is a very nice delicate violet scent with a watery /soapy vibes. There is a bit of sweetness in the base but for me it’s mostly just clean, delicate and flowery scent. There might be something slightly powdery in it.

I know that this is not a dupe of casamorati lira. But it’s an exact copy of it. I got the original lira for 300$ and I’m so glad I found this dupe. Now I can replace my bottle! It smells exactly like a new baked lemon cake and a little vanilla in the back. Best gormound perfume I have tested!

Years ago I spent a stupid amount of money on 50ml of the original and not one person commented on it so I thought I would try P P's version. I wore it on a night shift and was told the whole ward smelt of it - in a nice way, not overbearing ...from what I can remember it smells identical to the original ..you can smell the licorice ...I couldn't smell it on me which is why I dropped a star...not one of my favourites

Option Review:15ml Spray Extract
Unfortunately I didn’t end up liking this as much as I had hoped- I had the original 1997 version and the perfume spray version from recent years- this didn’t smell unlike them, per say.... but it smelt very inauthentic and playdoughy ? It gives me a headache everytime I try to wear it ( because it does give off Lolita leg pick vibes) . So, I think with a bit of reformulation this one could be a lot better ! But even after a month it still isn’t Warm enough I’d say or wearable .

Smells just like the real one, lasts all day, love Perfume Parlour perfumes x

Gentle soft,spicy,licorice powder floral

Lovely fragrance but probably a little too sweet for me! However it is a very nice, happy fragrance and lasts well! Perhaps I shall use a little less next time.

This is a beautiful feminine fragrance, it made me feel happy whilst wearing it! Lasts all day too. I am not sure how it compares to the original but it is a great perfume in its own right. I bought the roll on perfume oil and would buy again.

Pretty, powdery licorice scent, very similar to baby powder. Review based on 3ml oil.

This smells delightful, and just like the original. Not only do I love it, but several of the people I work with have just commented on how gorgeous it is (my package of perfumes just arrived, so we're trying them all on!). I bought the small roll-on, just to try it, but will get the spray next time I order.

I'm also very impressed at the efficiency and speed of PP. Every time I've ordered anything, it has arrived securely packaged and within two days.

I have never smelled the original, but I dont need to now because I have the PP version and its beautiful....

Never tried the original, but this is a nice sweet smell, just for me, maybe not one I would wear outside, because I don't tend to wear sweet fragrances. comforting and unusual.

I've never smelt the original but I liked the notes. My husband said I smelt like a sweet shop (a good thing)! I get lots of other comments about how nice I smell when I wear it. Very long lasting, could still smell it after 10 hours.

A very unique, warm, sweet scent, perfect for winter. Smells great, and has really good longevity.
