Based on the oil. Never tried the original. Cant smell much of anything Im afraid. Prefer the cafe roses.

very outspoken. Reminds me of pencil shavings. Must be the interaction between the vetiver and coffee notes. Beautiful

I am afraid that this is nothing like the Jo Malone original,which is such as a shame as the product is now discontinued.However I do purchase other Jo Malone copies on here as they are very similar to theoriginals...Would be wonderful if the powers that be could do further work on it as I feel it would be a very popular purchase if it were a much better copy.

Perfect for Autumn/winter, only problem is that I cant stop sniffing my wrist. Starts off very woody then settles into a beautiful warm, cozy fragrance. Will re-order .

I am afraid this smells nothing like the Jo Malone Black Cafe Vetyver - to me it smells just like YSL's Opium - which I really dislike.

Absolutely gorgeous! Very unusual and long lasting. It's immediately become a favourite of mine.

This is a lovely perfume, i could smell the coffee in this but in a good way, smells divine.

Winter warmer! this is a haunting, gorgeously alluring scent. Works brilliantly with the Malone nutmeg too. You fall in love with your wrist!
