Velvet Almond - 1002

I bought a load of EDP samples to find one that i like the most and found it with this one.

You can really smell the vanilla and almond at the start and the sandalwood warms down with the vanilla absolute so it isnt sickly sweet.

Saved up for a bottle of TF Vanilla Sex for my 50th, as adore the scents, names not so much.
That is my special occasion and this is my day to day one, but honestly, this outperformed the OG in terms of silage, longevity and amount needed.
It's a beast of a scent and not a good idea for a blind buy. This is NOT your ordinary, run of the mill highstreet safe vanilla. It will be a love or hate perfume. Opening, the almond slaps you in the face immediately in a boozy, amaretto blast.
But once it calms, the vanillas kicks in and smells so seductive, like the hint of rum on your tongue when you kiss.
This a complex scent that evolves over time.
On the gourmand side of vanilla but definitely not a standard, sickly sweet one. Knocks spots of tge baby Kayali28. That's a teenager, this is absolutely adults only.
It's dark, sophisticated and very, very seductive. You have been warned.

Not to my personal preference as all I can smell is marzipan/vanilla, but if that’s your preference then you’ll love it.

I find there is an almost play-doh kind of smell after the initial burst.

At first it reminds me of marzipan then after a few hours that calms down and you get the vanilla come through. I'm really like this one.

I love this fragance! When I have it on, people look around, saying how good it smells today! It meets exactly what I was expecting from it: delicious almonds! I'm so happy to have discovered this perfume. But now... it is sold out... :( When will it be back in stock??

I haven't smelt the original but I love this. A really strong, delicious vanilla scent, that lasted a long time on me. Perfect for autumn/winter

I have smelt the original which was more musky than this product. When i spray this all i get is vanilla, almond and cream. It smells like bakewell tart more then the OG. It would be nice if we could get an accurate version of this.

This is vanilla and almond smells lovely in the bottle lovely to shower with produces an ok lather but doesnt leave any lasting scent on the body I will not be ordering anymore shower gel

Similar to Vanilla S*x, but without the expensive smelling vanilla, so it's much more almondy.

Nice, and strong, but not quite tge same.

I was excited to receive this one as I tried the real deal it in store and it was a sweet vanilla but with enough of an edge that it wasn’t OTT or too feminine leaning. The PP version starts well with a hit of almond but quickly ends up somewhere very bad. Like out of date milk. And it barely lasts. I have had some amazing fragrances from PP over the years but this is one to skip.

If you are not an "Almond" person, stay far away. I think this should have been called Almond Sex.

Can't compare to the world g, but it's lots of almost nd with not terribly sweet vanilla. The extrait version is strong and long lasting.
