Two Flavours For Women - 1317

Bought a 2ml edp sample just to try some different perfumes and this one was really good! Smells like babycat but with more booze and more mature vanilla!

This is definitely one of my favourite pp perfumes. I love the incense. It's just perfect

I'm in love with this fragrance. It's very close to OG. I think Perfume Parlor products quality is on high level, better then many others

Have purchased this a few times now and loved it but never had the chance to test the OG. Got a sample of the OG and I really can’t tell the difference! This is definitely not a ‘gourmand’, sweetie style of vanilla but I love it. It’s dark, rich and smokey. Definitely one for the colder months (although I wear it all year!) and definitely a unisex fragrance. Perfume Parlour, well done on an amazing job!

I'm really angry—this is the first time this has happened to me. I just sprayed several spritzes on the back of my hand again, and after the alcohol evaporated, there was no scent at all. I've never seen anything like this. Nothing, no smell whatsoever—okay, maybe a faint, distant hint of incense, but only if I press my nose right up to it and really focus. It's a nonexistent perfume. To the point where I'm wondering if there's something wrong with the batch!

J'attendais avec impatience ce "dupe" de double vanille de Guerlain. Mais, je suis terriblement déçu et un peu en colère. Déçu parce que, sur moi, il ne sent pas grand chose, il faut mettre le nez à même la peau pour apercevoir une vague odeur de vanille lointaine, cachée par l'encens. Aucune tenue sur la peau, 10 minutes maximum et puis plus rien. Et sur le vêtement on ne sent que l'alcool pendant 2 minutes avant de ne plus rien sentir du tout.
Pensant que c'était mon moi le problème, j'ai fait un test en m'aspergeant (environ 15 pschitt) la peau et les vêtement. Puis quelques minutes après, j'ai demandé à un ami, s'il aimait mon nouveau parfum. Réponse : "Je n'avais pas senti que tu t'étais parfumé !" IL s'est alors approché très près et a dit : "ben, à vrai dire, je ne sens pas grand chose !". Je suis un peu en colère d'avoir dépensé tant d'argent avec l'envoi...

In my first review I was a bit harsh. All I smelled was alcohol and something woody, incense-y and badly blended. I was shocked that this was even considered a dupe.

PP contacted me and they were happy to refund me as I was so unhappy, which I found incredibly kind. They really didn't have to write me at all. So great customer service from them.
I declined as I was determined to see if the perfume would improve after several months of maceration. I understood that PP is freshly making these perfumes for their customers and therefore the perfume juices might not have mixed well with the base.

So I waited and waited.

Now, after almost 3 months of waiting and revisiting the original Guerlain I can make a proper review.

Two Flavours is actually quite close to the original Double Vanille. Two Flavours is stronger, you can smell the singular ingredients more than in Double Vanille, but it's definitely similar.
Double Vanille seems to have the same ingredients, but it's softer and more blended.
They definitely have the same scent profile, but Double Vanille is very soft in comparison to Two Flavours.
In Double Vanille you can smell the vanilla more, whilst in Two Flavours you can smell the woody and incense notes more. It's as if you took the same ingredients, but mixed them differently together.
Two Flavours is not bad at all, but it leans more masculine rather than unisex due to the stronger woodier base notes.
So if you are going for a soft vanilla, then this is not it. But if you don't mind a woody, incense induced vanilla then this is definitely a hit. It's nowhere near as bad as I originally thought it was.

It's not completely there, but very very close.

This is beautiful. Insence and vanilla. It smells luxurious and expensive. I would like it to me stronger so now I have used the tester, I'm going to buy the oil and the extrait.

I'm so so sad to write this review. I've smelled the original Double Vanille and I was blown away. It was the most beautiful vanilla smell that I have ever encountered. It has that warm, soft, rich, spicy and incredibly well blended mix to it, which is out of this world.
The Perfume Parlour "dupe" has nothing to do with the original. It doesn't have any warmth, no vanille and no depth to it. It just smells like alcohol in the top notes and then like an incense stick in the dry down.
I don't know how this could have possibly gone wrong so badly? Maybe a bad batch?
All the other perfumes that I have received from Perfume Parlour are wonderful but this one is terrible. I'm actually quite sad about it. I would have preferred if it would have just smelled like a cheap vanilla candle. But not even that. It just smells like incense sticks with alcohol.

I received a sample of the original SDV and I have that on one hand and PP Extrait on the other. They are almost identical but PP a little smokier and stronger. Great for autumn and winter. Unisex too.

I never smelled the original (because omg that pricetag). But I like this. I interpret this as an incense-vanilla scent. Slightly dark and great for colder weather.

I did not like this one at all unfortunately. I couldn't smell any vanilla

Option Review:10ml Roll On
This starts off as a resin vanilla scent and dries down to a more woody vanilla scent reminiscent of Gloria. I havent smelt the original SDV but nevertheless its a well done/blended smell.

Option Review:6ml Roll On
Can’t compare to the OG but this is wonderful! A smooth vanilla with some beautiful resin notes such incense. Really lovley and perfect for the colder months

This is an amazing, incense-resinous oriental vanilla, very long lasting. I adore it and highly recommend it!

yummy, boozy, vanilla gourmand. works on me, also on my boyfriend, so also quite unisex. lasts well.

incense sticks. no vanilla in here.

Ein holzig-vanilliger Auftakt , gepaart mit zarten fruchtigen Noten. Ich liebe ihn.

Three Stars because there is another which is very similar but stronger more Vanille and a better Composition. If you like sdv by guerlain and you like the pp Version Go with sublime Vanille by creed. Trust me it’s better

Auf meiner Haut startet er sofort mit einem Mix aus Vanille und einer Portion Weihrauch (es ist aber keine Weihrauch-Keule, Gott sei Dank). Vom Verlauf her wird der Weihrauch weicher, die Vanille etwas pudrig, der Duft erlangt eine zarte und schöne Süße. Auch ihn liebe ich.

Boozy Vanilla. Almost identical to the original. Love, love this!

I love Guerlain perfumes. This version is no exception. Beautiful.

I bought perfume parlour shalimar which smell amazing. This perfume has made the same impact it smell divine same as original

This is great! A lovely vanilla-y with a hint of incense scent. Recommended.

I love this and often wear it at night for deep sleep and happy dreaming. So far as I recall, it is very close to the original and smells expensive. How wonderful to be able to buy these classic scents at a affordable price. Thank you PP.
