this is a gorgeous summer scent, i’ve bought it twice now for summer and it’s absolutely gorgeous. a lovely gourmand that doesn’t sit too heavy in the heat. that said i feel like the longevity isn’t as good as heavier winter gourmand perfumes, but i don’t mind that too much.

To my nose not exactly the same as the original but MUCH stronger. A little overwhelming to me in the oil form I think.

I’m pleasantly surprised by how good this is! Sprayed the original on one wrist, and this on the other, and it was hard to tell the difference. This one may even smell slightly better?! Also amazed at the staying power, could still smell it in the evening. This was my first purchase, I’ll definitely be buying again.

I mostly can't comment on the likeness, I buy the 2ml samples or 3ml roll ons of scents I like the sound of (but haven't smelt the original), before deciding whether to buy a bigger bottle. Great way to try out new fragrances without the huge outlay :-)

Smells exactly like the mist but 10x stronger! I love the sol de Janeiro scents but with them being body mists they don’t last at all, so happy to have found somewhere that does them as perfumes for a bargain!

I bought the original that this is a similar scent to, and I really feel that this is as close as you'd get to the actual perfume. I'm happy with the smell, the longevity of it, can't say anything bad about it. I only purchased the 30ml to see how it was, but I will definitely buy the 100ml next time.

I bought this during the summer and to me it smells like a tropical summer holiday - beaches & cocktails. Creamy toasted coconut, sweet vanilla, salty sea, a drizzle of caramel nuttiness and some florals in the background. The opening is a sweet vanilla coconut with pistachio, then the florals come through. It dries down with a salted caramel, florals and subtle woodiness. On cooler days, the florals come through more strongly. I really like this as an everyday scent - it's gourmand but not sickly sweet or cloying in hot weather. I'll repurchase a larger size once i've used this one up.

This needed to sit for a few weeks but it's now quite a strong, sweet, fun, nutty fragrance. It's very close to the original body spray I tried in Boots. I would recommend this but it you don't do sweet and gourmand usually this will be too much. It's sooooooo sweet.

Bought this for my daughter and she loves it smells just like the sol de janeiro body mist she says

The scent in perfume oil from is near spot on in smelling like the original. The original mist is perhaps lighter and more airy and certainly does not last as long as the oil does. I do wish I'd gotten it in the dip stick format as the roller I have hardly gives out any oil unless I press super hard. I love the perfume oil and how long it lasts. I just wish my bottle's roller rolled smoothly so I can enjoy the perfume without to deal with bone deep aches from trying to get the ball rolling and perfume flowing.

Absolutely lovely scent that lasts all day. Will be ordering again for sure.
