Soft Speech - 1735

Bought this for my girlfriend; I consider it a unisex woody vanilla fragrance. Alcohol blast off the top which subsides quickly to some fresh spice. Thereafter, there is a warm and inviting woodiness coupled with a vanillic sweetness. It's great value.

I got the 3ml oil roller of this perfume and desperately need it to come back in stock soon so I can buy more. It is not overly sweet, slightly peppery, and is absolutely intoxicating. To quote another reviewer, it smells like an interesting person from a remote past.I have not tried the original, but this is wonderful enough for me. The longevity could be slightly better, but this is a skin scent anyway. PLEASE RESTOCK!

i was absolutely heartbroken when maison margiela discontinued whispers in the library as it's my signature everyday scent but this is so very close to the original! i can only tell them apart in the opening but the dry down is identical! and it lasts all day easy

I can't smell the citrus but that's fine. It's like a soft hush of Strong Gentleman. Clean, soft boy, quiet library. It's woody but soft. Get this if you want a clean, office-safe everyday scent. FTM peeps, don't miss out on this. 3Ml oil is recommended for testers :) besides who doesn't want a small collection of samples before going for a splurge :D.

I haven’t tried Whispers in the library but I really like this scent. A bit too peppery on first sniff for me but after 30mins it dries down to a warm, slightly creamy scent which will be amazing for autumn winter and Unisex. No alcohol smell like some cheap perfumes. Really impressed

Smells like what I can imagine a famous writer from the 1920s would have smelt. It’s absolutely magical! Gives softness with the vanilla but with a hint of liquor, mixed with old pages of a leathery book. I can’t stop smelling it and having it transport me to the most magical yet mysterious places from the past. NOTE TO SELF- ALWAYS GET THE BIG BOTTLE!!!

Option Review:10ml Roll On
I love this fragrance. I have the original and this version is extremely close. The only difference is in the opening notes, but the mid and dry down are identical. I've had my bottle for almost a year now and the performance is so much better than the original. I'm not sure if letting the oils sit improves their performance, but I feel like it has.
