Mysterious For Women - 1881

Like many pp oils this needed a good lie down for several weeks after delivery to settle into its real smell.
I have very mixed reactions to this complex perfume.
When first applying it takes all my willpower not to rush to the sink and scrub this off. If I blind tested it I would assume it to be a LVEB flanker due to its blast of nose-coating syrupy sweetness.
But after a few minutes it settles into something better with more notes although not particularly special or groundbreaking.
Then just as I'm thinking I won't bother with it, the magic happens.
Time presses pause to allow the air around my head to fill with an airy, translucent iris and delicate florals. It's intoxicating. But woe betide me if I bury my nose in my wrist to get a closer sniff at this point because I just get punched in the nose by synthetic oversweet fumes.
I now let the wind stir up the brilliant sileage of Mysterious when walking the dog.

Absolutely stunning sent I have had the original before. And I had just run out of my bottle when I purchased this, I can say that it is very very similar to the original this one is maybe a little more sweeter , and because of that I actually prefer this one. I’ve got about four hours Longevity out of this one , So it’s not as long lasting as the original but it’s no issue at all for £22 this is an amazing sent and I will carry on re-purchasing this one for sure

Can’t compare with the original but this is a sweet fruity floral with a lovely soft amber powdery dry down. I wouldn’t describe it as ‘mysterious ‘ or an ‘enigma’ but very pleasant
