Love this as I missed Gloria so much

So pleased to find Kudos at PP. I have a small bottle of the OG gloria by cacherel that I purchased as it was reduced at the time. I had no idea that I would love it and would've bought a larger bottle had I realised that they would discontinued this fragrance. Thanks to PP I can wear my favourite scent once again. I've tried the roll on, the perfume and now the Extrait. They are all fabulous and I recommend them 100% if you love Cacherel Gloria and want the fragrance back in your collection. Totally in love ❤️

This product smells just like Gloria by Cacharel. Arrived quickly. The problem is, the scent doesn’t last. You can’t barely detect it after an hour.

I'm very happy with this company, the only one where I found my beloved Gloria! Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed.
It was supposed to be a duplicate for gloria by cacharel.
It was nothing like it and smelt like a mans perfume

I tried the spray and roll on oil Kudos. Both very similar to Gloria but the roll on oil is spot on. A very happy me!

My wife loved Gloria by Cacharel, and was absolutely gutted when it was discontinued, we joined a bring back gloria group on facebook and heard of some similar smells but nothing came close. When I just randomly started searching again for my wifes 40th, I discovered Kudos and read reviews that said it smelled like Gloria, so I bought a small one to surprise her with. When she first sprayed it , her eyes lit up and she said it was exactly the same, I agree too as I used to love the smell on her 20 years ago. It smells identical. I was worried when ppl said there was an off smell after a few hours, but it still smells lovely and lasts all day and can smell it on clothes the next day. I have gone on to get the extract too, it is a slightly stronger smell and lasts aswel.

Firstly - Highly recommend getting this in only in the roll on Oil! (This is best match)
It’s smells the most like the Original Gloria (really wish they didn’t discontinued this - was my ultimate favourite)
Secondly, it’s stunning, not only is the oil long lasting, I have sooo many compliments. Such a beautiful smell.

The opening of this is truly beautiful: rich warm and ambery floral with a touch of pepper to liven it up.
Only 4 stars as on my skin the drydown is a letdown -- a bit like a cheap body spray and the whole scent lacks strength and projection.
The fabulous opening did very much remind me of pp's Easterner. If you love Kudos then I can recommend Easterner which is strong, more lasting and has a richer drydown.

I have never smelled the original, but I have heard that this is as close as it gets to the original.
It's a beautiful perfume. Very gentle, soft. You will not be blasted with a strong whiff of scent, but more of a skin scent. In a very good way. It's a rather discreet fragrance. It's wonderfully blended, nothing stands out like a sore thumb. It's just a beautiful gentle perfume. Wearing it will offend no one. It's a light vanilla almond scent. Not a overly sweet one. It's more of a perfume-y vanilla, not a gourmand one. You will not get sticky sweet, but gentle sweet. It's a nice perfume.
It's not a ground breaking beast mode, but a nice friendly fragrance.

This was a blind buy as I was looking for a strong cherry scent to try out. I'd never heard of Gloria but it seems to have been very popular. I bought the extract and oil versions and it's undoubtedly beautiful with a rich almond marzipan kind of undertone but not a lot of cherry which is what I wanted. It also has some lovely musk notes. Unfortunately this just didn't have the strength I prefer in my perfumes since it was hard to smell unless I held my writ right up to my nose. If you prefer lighter fragrances though this is very lovely.

I purchased this with a 13ml x 5 bundle and couldn't find the fragrance I wanted, so i picked the first one that was floral and rosy. I haven't smelt the original but I was impressed with this fragrance none the less.

You've only gone and done it !! Smells exactly the same as the original I'm so happy . Great staying power too. So happy to have this

I originally bought the Kudos Extract for my wife as a present, however it was a little strong for her tastes. The team at PP were great in recommending the EDP, did an exchange and she loves it.

Have always been happy with the product. But this time I am very disappointed. There isn’t hardly any smell to it. Not at all like my previous purchases. Usually love wearing Kudos but not this time

The scent doesn't last as advertised

I have thought about this perfume for years. It was my absolute favourite in high school and the scent that got me into perfumes. I've loved so many over the years but never as much as Gloria and I have been devastated since it was discontinued. I found a recommendation for the Perfume Parlour version on Fragrantica and ordered the extrait.

First sniff I was a little disappointed. I remember thinking "she's definitely in there" but it was masked by quite an unpleasant smell. Then I read about leaving them to sit for a little while to develop fully or "macerate" since they're made to order and need time to mature a little.

So I popped it in a cupboard for a week or two and came back when I could no longer resist.

As soon as I sprayed it was instant Gloria! I can't believe it. After all these years. I am over the moon - I've worn it every day and ordered a bigger bottle plus the oil to see if I can get a little longer out of it. My only criticism is that it's not got the same longevity, wearing off after a couple of hours, but for this price I will bring it in my bag and respray!

Thank you Perfume Parlour for bringing Gloria back into my life. So happy!

Never smelt Cacharel Gloria before but according to some reviews Kudos is a very close version. I love the fragrance and it lasts for ages. Great sillage just a beautiful fragrance. A safe blind buy.
