Easterner - 1830

Will be buying litres of this stuff, simply unreal, I wish I had a bottle of the vintage formulation because this to me smells better than the modern formulation whilst being uncannily similar. Projects like an absolute beast, dry dusty tobacco juxtaposed with smooth incense and sweet honey, absolute masterpiece. The tobacco in this is certainly more prominent than in the modern formulation I have, overall this is a smoother texture.

I’d been eyeing the OG Chergui for a while, but decided to try the PP version first to test it out. To my surprise, it’s very close to the original – but what really impressed me is the potency. I sprayed it on my wrist about 4 hours ago, and even after trying to wash it off (since I’d sprayed another fragrance on the other wrist and didn’t want them mixing in the air), the scent just wouldn’t budge. “Easterner” really clings to the skin. Very impressive longevity and strength for a test run.

Congratulations Perfume Parlour! This fragrance is very very close to the original Chergui by serge Lutens. It is perfect unisex, very well balanced, a multi-layered perfume that leaves a trace, long-lasting and addictive! You won't regret it, it's worth a try!

Gorgeous intense Smokey scent with a kind of spicy sweetness to it. Gorgeous complex fragrance that has a lovely dry down too.

Deep, rich smokey sweetness that smells great on anybody.
Blooms particularly wonderfully on chilly evenings.
Strong for an oil.

Good perfume, long-lasting with long sillage.
My wife likes it.

I have the original and compared them side by side. I do smell some differences, especially in the opening. The PP version is still nice in it's own right though.

This is so complex, I love it. After an hour it settles in to a gorgeous grown up powdery note, that reminds me of baby powder but I mean that in a positive way!
One of the strongest scents I've had from perfume parlor. I can see this becoming my new favourite.

Creamy, spicy and well used amber giving a cosy almost chai latte vibe. This will not be to everyone's taste so try a tester unless you are familiar with Elephant. However this is much more pleasant to wear whereas Elephant made me nauseous.
Projects like a beast and will stay on clothes for days so apply with that in mind.

This is beautiful. Probably the longest lasting fragrance on my skin - I can smell it for days even after taking a shower! Very close to the OG and I am very happy. Can't wait to see how it performs in the summer!

I wasn't sure I liked this at first, thought it too heavy, but once it dries down, it's gorgeous, it's definitely a grower...

Very suitable fragrance for autumn and winter, unisex, but in my opinion it is more for ladies. Еxtremely close to the original Chergui Serge Lutens!

I was delighted with this fragrance, so much so I bought a bottle of the real scent. I must say the pp version is very close. Let it macerate for a few weeks and it becomes beautiful.

This is a very good wear for the winter months. It lingers for at least 8 hours.

Not Smelt the original but this smells lovely. Has a strong Honey note I enjoy. Lasts good 6 hours plus and projects well. Bought Oil

This is a very good copy, but not quite like the original. The original has stronger hay and incense notes. However, the hay note in the original makes me sneeze and the PP version doesn’t. So, I prefer this version over the original.

Smells like the original, for a fraction of the price. Great fragrance!

As the original is too expensive for me I ordered 3ml oil after reading reviews. I really like this.

Similar, but definitely different and simpler than the original one. PP has some quite strong fresh (citrus?) accents that are not found in the original.

This reminds me of my childhood being in the fields in summer with the hay. Also has a honey scent and smokeyness which makes me think of summer evening as the sun is going down. Maybe its a glass of rose in a field of hay and a smokey fire nearby. Just gorgeous.

This is a sweet tobacco type scent might not be for everyone but i love it. I did smell the original once but did not think much of it but when i smelled the PP version its difinetly a great winter scent. Kinda like pure havanne by thierry mugler
