The opening is sharp and slightly bitter with bergamot, giving a fresh spark before the darker notes arrive. In the heart, jasmine softens things just a little, while patchouli adds that earthy, animalic edge that defines the scent. The dry-down is where it really shines — vetiver, amber, and leather combine into a smoky, resinous base that feels bold, mysterious, and unapologetically dark. Overall, it’s animalic and woody with a strong leather backbone, perfect if you like your fragrances daring and atmospheric. Longevity is strong, and it definitely leans more toward evening wear.

Best alternative on the market - if you didn’t get the pleasure to own/smell this before being discontinued - here’s the best option. Lasts forever too.

This may split opinions and it's an unique scent but oh my I love it! One of the best performances I've had from PP, no need for extract with this one. For me it's got this kind of ruggishness about it that absolutely works, it's like Ombre Leathers older brother who's a bit of a rebel

Option Review:15ml Spray Extract
After using the 15ML Spray Extract for half a year, I want to leave a review on this fragrance.

It's important to know that the Extract Sprays need some time (7-14 Days) until they unfold their beast mode Performance. So don't be disappointed if you use it right away and it's not as strong as some people here claim it to be. I know it's hard but just give them some time.
I always use 4 Sprays, 2 behind the ears and 2 on the front of my neck. Every Extract Spray I own lasts at least 8 hours on me (other people around me can even smell it for a longer time and it sticks for days on clothes!)

Guys it's a masterpiece. A secret tip not many people will know about but this Perfume which was discontinued by Tom Ford simply blew my mind. The funny thing is that my first PP order had 8 extract sprays and when I first smelled Japon Noir out of the bottle it was that strong woody note that kicked in my nose and I thought I wouldn't enjoy it as much as the others and it was a mistake ordering it. But spraying this on m skin for the first time completely changed my mind and made me fall in love with it. It's dark, it's heavy, mysterious and unique. Never smelled a perfume like this ever. Some people call it "old manish" and I wouldn't even disagree that much but if it is old manish than in the most noble and luxurious way and so good that even a 28 year old man like me would totally enjoy wearing it. My father smelled this on me and asked me to order a 30ML bottle for him.

Sadly this splendid masterpiece is discontinued.
Quality, projection, blend, longevity is outstanding, equal to the original. Perfume Parlor best ones. Will buy a 2nd purchase for back up.

Fantastic representation of the long forgotten Japon Noir. You get the Leather, the amber, the incense. I ordered a 3ml roll on, and immediately ordered a 30ml spray right after. You will not find this juice anywhere but here. Get it while you can!

I like the leather better in this frag than in Tuscan Leather - this is smoother and nicer

Beautiful fragrance

Fantastic interpretation of the discontinued Tom Ford frag. Huge amber and bergamot opening, very green and a touch resinous with the vetiver in the heart and a leather accord not unlike that used in Tuscan Leather in the base. Great juice!!

This fragrance is an absolute beast, powerful and dirty in the best meaning of the word. Unique and special.
