Delight For Women - 1946

Did not like this fragrance. I am a Joy perfume addict and I have the real Joy by Jean Patou and also Delighted from here, which I love, but not this, especially since LVMH bought the Patou House and then discontinued the REAL JOY, which was a MASTERPIECE, so they could use the Joy name for the new Dior Joy perfume. Doesn't compare in any Universe, it is not PP's doing, I just don't like the original fragrance
that replaced the real original JOY. Such a shame. A tragedy really, that LVMH did that. If you've never tried the original Joy, you can try Delighted, it is very close to the original. IMHO. On of the Great Scents of the World IMO

Heard so much about Joy but never tried the original perfume. This is amazing and lasts all day. I just love it and will buy again for sure.

Smell is a perfect match, just doesn't last as long as the original. Happy with the purchase though as would buy again :)

Love the smell, and so close to the original, but does not last that long on me. I still wear it, but top up during the day.

We have always bought the original Dior Joy and have a bottle here now to compare, as have just tried this Delight For Women 1946, and.. well it is bang on and so similar, in fact we thought it smelt even nicer than Dior Joy. So our next order of Joy will be Delight For Women 1946 with perfume Parlour ..plus others we want to try.

I’ve never smelled the original, but after seeing the advert, I thought I’d give this one a go. It’s a really wearable beautiful and feminine, slightly soapy (not in a bad way) perfume. For me, this version reminds me a lot of Allure by Chanel and I’ll definitely repurchase.

Don’t know what the original Joy smells like. But can’t be better than this perfume. I work with the general public and everyday I get so many compliments. Small enough to pop in pocket. Beautiful perfume.
