Defender Second - 1712

Bought a sample of this. This reminded me instantly of a taxi i sat in in Egypt. So it really hits the brief of 'alexandria' in that sense.

A bit too middle eastern for me, was hoping for more of the top notes to shine through but I can understand why people like this.

Very woody with a hint of sweetness in the dry down. I enjoy the dry down even as someone who isn't a massive lover of oud.

The scent is ok but I have smelled better PP of xerjoff.
But that's the great thing about PP, you can try them out without braking the bank.

Lovely scent don't get me wrong but just too feminine for my taste.

This is a lovely scent but too feminine for me unfortunately, I'm more into the more masculine fragrances but it's still a lovely scent.

Lovely scent but after a few hours of wearing I couldn't shake off the fact it smells too feminine for me, even though it's a unisex fragrance it definitely leans feminine.

Initial impressions: very weak scent. Sprayed 2 times on my hand and after 2 hours it was gone. It doesn.t lift up of my arm, doesn.t project, I don.t know what it.s wrong. I ordered 16 PP sprays I believe, the others performed like crazy, this is the only let down from the bunch. I will spray it a bit and let it macerate for maybe 1 month and come back to it, I hope it will change.

Becareful of ordering the oil as it will leak! Ordered 9 bottles of oil and 4 of them were leaking. Some more, some less. But at least the box smells great haha. Other than that, nice smelling fragrance!

I have a bottling of the original fragrance and a 50ml EDP clone.
The Perfume Parlour version could only mature 1 month but the DNA is almost 1:1 the same! Insanely good fragrance.

This smells very different for me to other perfumes i know and i guess this could get positive as well as negative compliments. But i really like it. So i decided to order a sample of the original and i‘m pretty stunned about how close this is to the original. In fact i‘m a Bit disappointed that the original for 295,-€/50ml doesn‘t smell so much different :-D

I was really surprised by how similar this is to the original.

On both my skin and jacket, the drydown is nearly identical when comparing both fragrances side by side. Yes, there is some quality difference, mainly on the oud, which is to die for in the original, but you'll be able to save a monthly rent with this purchase. (And frankly, most people won't be able to tell the difference).
