I recently picked up Afrique Absolu from Perfume Parlour, their take on Byredo's Bal d'Afrique Absolu, and wow – it's a gorgeous unisex scent. It opens with a bright, juicy burst of bergamot, lemon, and blackcurrant that feels crisp and luxurious right away. The overall vibe is rich and decadent, with that indulgent praline warmth coming through beautifully in the heart – very true to the original inspiration.
It smells incredibly close to the high-end version, capturing that vibrant, sophisticated essence without any harsh chemical notes. Projection and longevity are solid for a dupe, and I'm confident it'll mature even more over the next few weeks as it settles. For the price, this is outstanding value – luxurious without the luxury price tag. Highly recommend if you're a fan of the Byredo Absolu or just want something opulent and addictive!
It smell very good at start its too strong but after 10-20 min smells very well. I like it
When my bottle first arrived, I must admit I didn’t like it……I felt it was too heavy on the oud. I put it away in a dark cupboard, and two weeks later discovered this sweet, creamy sandalwood. The oud is still apparent, but beautifully well balanced. Now it is my favourite winter/spring fragrance.
I decided to try perfume parlour after seeing an advert on Facebook and seeing all the positive reviews. I am so glad I did. The scents are spot on and truly beautiful, they last for hours also and the price is amazing. Honestly if you are thinking about it, go for it. Its really good.
