Improvements: Slow website - but that might also be our wifi, but it seems slower than other sites.
A great start!

Looking for a day-to-day alternative for the pricey Tom Ford that my son loves, I came across Perfume Parlour and their Silver Fern. It's lush, and to my nose, very similar; enough that I'm happy to encourage him to overcome his resistance and try it. I've now persuaded my nephew and sister to trial their luxury scents with PP's alternatives - and now it's my turn!

I have not smelt the OG, but, the scent is average. There is something in it that makes it slightly unpleasant.

It is easy to wear, but polarising. As mentioned, could not comment on how close it is.

Option Review:50ml Spray
Unfortunately for it does miss the nuances of the original which make it as good as it is. The herbaceous quality is a bit too dominant and quite smokey, whilst the smooth creamy facets are left wanting. So I would ‘t say it’s a like for like fragrance. However, projection/ performance is quite good.

Hopefully PP revisit this one as it does need some tweaking

I would say PP miss the mark on this one. Whilst it nails the back bone of the scent ; the overall experience is a mild departure from the OG. The lavender is noticeably different and you don’t get the slight citrus zip you do from the OG. Whilst there is no mint in the original you certainly get an aura of freshness which is lacking in this particular dupe and the creamy facet is replaced with something a bit stale smelling. Performance wise, very good. Projection and longevity is certainly there.

Hopefully the scent is re-visited by the folks at PP as the original is a true beauty and they’re aren’t massively far off

Absolutely stunning!.... Wonderful ginger note and the Mandarin is so fresh and clean.......The coumarin adds a certain vanillic freshness to. the composition...Herbally dry lavender, unlike anything I have smelt before......One of the best Fougeres I have ever smelt.
