Green Bohème - 2097

One of the best summer perfumes you should have.

Having compared the original side-by-side with the PP Extract of this scent I have to sadly say it's a miss.

That's not to say the Green Bohème scent isn't nice, which it is. In fact my wife preferred it to the original, Bohemian Lime by goldfield & banks.

The lime scents are similar, but the original is brighter, sweeter and has an effervescent quality which is missing in the PP creation. The Bohemian Lime has been referred to as Lime-ventus, which is easy to understand when you smell the original. The sparkling lime dries down into an Aventus-like woody base with the lime still present hours later. All of these elements are unfortunately missing from the PP Extract (the EDP may be brighter and fresher) and the linear lime scent fades after an hour or two leaving nothing behind. The Aventus base is completely absent. If the scent was reformulated with some of the Aventus DNA included this would possibly give Green Bohème the staying power of the original.

I will still enjoy the scent for what it is, but given the performance of this particular scent I won't be repurchasing it.

I bought the oil of this and to be honest I'm glad I only spent £3 as it's nothing special at all. 90% of my purchases on here are a success however this falls into the 10% unfortunately

Smells like the original but doesn’t last long, need to keep applying.

The lime is like a Kaffir lime and this carries that Kaffir leaf scent as well. It's sweeter than "normal" lime and has a pleasant woody undertone.

Wow what a lovely fragrance. Never tried the original, just purchased hoping this would be a lovely fresh lime scent and it is. The extrait lasts for many hours which is always a bonus :) Thanks PP, another great scent.

Not smelled the Og so can’t compare to that but the scent itself is gorgeous. The first 20mins the lime is popping. After 20mins the line disappears and left with just a nice woody scent that lasted about 2hrs max. I definitely wouldn’t recommend the edp if you’re gonna try this. Get the extrait cos the edp is very weak
