Spicy orange and wood. Distinct cologne smell. Don't know how to explain it but it smells cheap? Reminds me of deodorant. Still good but basic.

Insanely fresh but pretty generic, reminds me of febreze(?) Slight dewy wet grass smell, in a good way. Smells better as it wears off.
30ml Extrait - Bought this after smelling the original on a friend. J'adoube is a lovely sweet, fruity, Damask Rose and Pomegranate forward fragrance. I don't pick up much of the leather in the base notes at the moment, but this may come with maceration. However, the amber is definitely detectable. This PP extrait is strong and it's lasted on my skin all day long. Absolutely unisex. Love this PP version.
Probably the best clone of this perfume you will find. I have the original but never liked the performance it had, and to compare I sprayed this and the original. The scent is very similar (though not exact, but not in a bad way, this smells just as expensive in my opinion), the way it develops and settles, however where the original disappears an hour in, PP goes on and on and on, still on my arm after 5 hours. As a gourmand lover that wanted to use more floral scents this is P E R F E C T.
Lovely very close to Penhaligans Babylon but would like the smell to linger a little longer.
I love this warm, sweet and spicy scent so much that I use it in a reed diffuser as well as wearing the perfume.
I've been using YSL Pour Homme classic 1972 for over 40 years. When they stopped making it I was lost.
I saw LXXI For Men - 1316 mentioned on a discussion site which said this is close to YSL Pour Homme.
I was VERY surprised when I bought this.
This is VERY VERY close to the YSL original.
The only downside I've noticed is the lower grade alcohol used - it can burn a little on sensitive areas of the neck and face, but the smell makes up for it.

Wore the original the day before trying this. Very impressive just missing the incredibly creamy dry down after a few hours that you get with the og. Not complaining, I'm wearing this one everyday. For the cost you can't go wrong :)
