Probably the best clone of this perfume you will find. I have the original but never liked the performance it had, and to compare I sprayed this and the original. The scent is very similar (though not exact, but not in a bad way, this smells just as expensive in my opinion), the way it develops and settles, however where the original disappears an hour in, PP goes on and on and on, still on my arm after 5 hours. As a gourmand lover that wanted to use more floral scents this is P E R F E C T.
Lovely very close to Penhaligans Babylon but would like the smell to linger a little longer.
I love this warm, sweet and spicy scent so much that I use it in a reed diffuser as well as wearing the perfume.
I've been using YSL Pour Homme classic 1972 for over 40 years. When they stopped making it I was lost.
I saw LXXI For Men - 1316 mentioned on a discussion site which said this is close to YSL Pour Homme.
I was VERY surprised when I bought this.
This is VERY VERY close to the YSL original.
The only downside I've noticed is the lower grade alcohol used - it can burn a little on sensitive areas of the neck and face, but the smell makes up for it.

Wore the original the day before trying this. Very impressive just missing the incredibly creamy dry down after a few hours that you get with the og. Not complaining, I'm wearing this one everyday. For the cost you can't go wrong :)

I always buy this one in a roll on oil but combined it with leaf ( a copy of Tom ford tobacco vanilla ) I always get great compliments everywhere I go
I originally contacted customer service about a month ago after falling in love with Dior Miss Dior Essence. They said it wasn't in their current plans but would pass it on for consideration, so I was really pleased to see they've now created it.
The scent itself is very similar to the original. It's sweet, juicy and delicious without being overpowering. You get that addictive fruity sweetness straight away, then it softens nicely as it wears. It feels feminine, comforting and easy to reach for.
Overall, a great recreation and I'm genuinely impressed with how close it is. I'm really glad they went ahead with it.
Absolutely amazed that this smells like my aftershave from 20 years ago , £200 on ebay for a bottle.
After a duff introduction to this one, possibly due to a bad batch, PP replaced the bottle. The difference was like night and day!! I had to quickly buy a back-up bottle and may need to get more if there is any likelihood of this being discontinued. This is not a dupe of Dior’s current poor 2025 version, but the famous discontinued ‘2014’ version that became an obsession, but it’s no longer available. Unfortunately I have become addicted to the iris dry down and find myself constantly sniffing and snorting. Sadly, I am shortly to start therapy, but The Consultant fears I am beyond hope 🙄😉. Try not to buy two bottles at once!
